Is there a setting which can be altered, to allow the processor to access as much memory as is needed to perform the operation? If I can gain access to the file I can cut it into smaller pieces and make it more manageable for the program to deal with. After a couple of ties, the computer stops trying to open the file and sends the error message. Meanwhile in the column titled 'Memory', it indicates that my computer manages to use up to 45,000 K before it gives

In Task Manager, the column named 'CPU' jumps from 00 to 50 and hovers between 48 and 49. I just tried that idea out and here's what happens. I did note, using Task Manager, that it was only drawing it's resources from only one of the two. I had not considered limiting the program's ability to access memory from only one of the two processors with the Affinity setting. PolyView was not able to recover any portion of my digital rendering work, which I did manage to get PolyView to save one of the three jpg files within this project but I already had this file scanned and saved elsewhere. Part of the file that I would like to recover. The file that I'm trying to recover contains three jpg files, the images that I was tracing, one small text file and the digital tracing file that I was working on, which is made up of many tiny curved and straight black lines, 1pt. Even Digital Image Starter Edition 2006 doesn't contain the same features.

While other drawing programs that I've exploredĬontain many wonderful and some very similar tools, I have yet to find another program with exactly the same vector graphics drawing features offered in PhotoDraw. With a low learning curve, and the simple set of tools to choose from in PhotoDraw, I've been able to accomplish a great deal. I like the intuitive nature of PhotoDraw and the fact that it's relatively easy to use. I stumbled upon a means to accomplish this using PhotoDraw but I wasn't aware of the file size limitations inherent in the program. I'm able to recreate them with clean digital lines, likeĪ vector graphics illustration. Though I've used PhotoDraw for many years, to create other graphic projects, I've only recently started exploring using this program to digitally render some of my old sketchbook pencil drawings. I'm running the program in compatibility mode.

I'm wondering if a better computer will help matters? My pc is running Vista Ultimate SP2, with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4200+ 2,21 Ghz,ġ8MB RAM, 32Bit OS. Tracing and recreating my original pencil sketch is now unreachable by the one program that created it. Hence, three long days of my labor at digitally mix file that I was rendering yesterday, that, due to it's size, I would be unable to open it again with MS Photo Draw 2000 V2. I was unaware that when I saved and closed the. Since the program was created when only single core processors were in use, I suspect that the dual core that I now have or even a quad core system might be part of the issue. I've also tried to allocate more Virtual Memory to each of the two hard drives that I have, doubling the recommended amount but this didn't help either. More RAM? I tired increasing the Priority of the program, without success. It maxes out the available memory at 50% and then just sends me an error message.
